A tour to Luxor from Marsa Alam begins with a private car journey, accompanied by your tour manager from our company. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by an expert Egyptologist Tour Guide who will take you on a memorable journey through the majestic Karnak Temple – the largest place of worship ever built. With its ancient name Ipet-isut meaning ‘The Most Sacred of Places’, it is home to an incredible forest of giant pillars known as the Hypostyle Hall. Afterward, visit Amenhotep III and Ramses II’s iconic Luxor Temple which was dedicated to God Amon for ritual and festival purposes. There is also free time in Luxor where optional tours such as attending the Sound & Light Show at Karnak temple or exploring the city market can be taken advantage of before settling down for an overnight stay after lunch has been provided.

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Luxor, you will be escorted on an informative and historical trip to the West Bank of the Nile River. You’ll get to see two enormous and impressive Colossi of Memnon and two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. Then you will journey into ancient Egyptian history as you visit the Valley of the Kings – where magnificent tombs were discovered including that famous boy King Tutankhamun’s! These tombs were carved deep into desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures from Pharaohs’ afterlife. You can even opt for a Banana Island tour by Felucca ride on the Nile River before driving back from Luxor to your hotel in Marsa Alam. As part of this wonderful experience, lunch en route is also included along with free time at Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary – dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut who was Egypt’s only female Pharaoh.
